Workspace doesn't scale when changing from laptop to monitor

Hi all,

I have saved a workspace, that includes all the toolbars/buttons that I frequently use. I have had this set up the way I like it for a year or so now. However, when I use CAD solely on the laptop (not using a second monitor) my workspace doesn't rescale, therefore, I have a workspace with icons missing because the monitor screen is bigger than the laptop. Can you suggest a way to get the workspace to scale properly when switching from monitor/laptop screen?

Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately no. The workspace doesn’t scale like that. Il’s a matter of linear inches—you will need xx inches to display your customized toolbar setup and your monitor, whether desktop or laptop, must provide the minimum number of linear onches. If your monitor fails in delivering the space, then Autocad has no choice than to cutoff some of your icons.
