Working with linetype .lin file in text format

Hi group,

I've been googling and reading a lot on Linetype creation for the past years but this over here caught my attention trying to figure out what these parameters are :

In red : BAS_TALUS

In green : HAUT_TALUS

What does :

*HAUT_TALUS,Limite de haut de talus
A,0.12,-0.48,0.12,-0.24,[HOTALU,mtq,S=1,R=0],-0.24,0.12,-0.48

*BAS_TALUS,Limite de bas de talus
A,0.12,-0.48,0.12,-0.24,[BATALU,mtq,S=1,R=0],-0.24,0.12,-0.48

The [BATALU,mtq,S=1,R=0] is the part i'm trying to understand; what is "BATALU" ?

Is it a variable ?

Usually we se a string between quotation marks but in this case no.

String between quotations is for a predefined string when used, as explained in HELP:

No string between quotes would indicate a shape file, also from HELP
