Workflow for "arty" 2d elevations etc

Hi.

I know this is probably an old topic but I'm getting really frustrated.

I'm looking for a way to take a 2d AutoCAD elevation and quickly soften the lines to a pencil style, adding images like skies, cut-out people and cars etc and flood filling areas with textures like brick etc. BUT I want to be able to update the original line work should the AutoCAD elevation be amended.

I know this is exactly what Autodesk Impression did but it's discontinued and I've also found reference to Autodesk Sketchbook Designer but that also seems to be dead in the water.

Do any other Autodesk products have this ability to combine vectors and bitmaps (I have AutoCAD ADT 2018, Revit 2018 & 3D Max 2018) or should I be looking at other software companies products like Sketch-up or Illustrator?

Any advice gratefully received. THANKS

this link indicates that it might be available if you have a subscription. I haven't been able to verify this though.
