Windows does not launch AutoCAD by double clicking a .dwg file

When I try to open a .dwg file by clicking two times in a row with my Windows laptop, it does not recognise the program launcher. I've looked up people with similar problems, and, after trying several proposed solutions, it keeps doing the same, that is, not working. I have to tell you that if I open AutoCAD and open the file with the program, it works perfectly. Could you help me solve that please - it is so uncomfortable to use the software fluently. Thanks in advance!

The problem was in a Windows device. The solution was to delete from the registry all the terminations related to AutoCAD, as explained in the second link you shared (https://www.autodesk.com/support/technical/article/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Error-Windows-cann...). Then, you enter AutoCAD, and it asks you if you want to reassociate dwg files with the program, and it simply does it.

Thank you so much!
