Hi,

>> Is yhis the same as ACCoreConsole?

  • AccoreConsole.exe ..... command line version of AutoCAD that can help you with significantly faster batch processing of drawings.
  • Windows Command Prompt is a command line interpreter application available in most Windows operating systems. It's used to execute entered commands. Most of those commands automate tasks via scripts and batch files, perform advanced administrative functions, and troubleshoot or solve certain kinds of Windows issues.

First, you would have to create a DSD file (Drawing Set Description). This is done in AutoCAD via the PUBLISH command (and maybe other ways, but I don't know).

Then, at a Windows command prompt you could enter the acad executable (including the path), followed by the /pl switch, followed by the path and filename of the DSD file. AutoCAD will launch (in a hidden session) and publish the set of layouts specified by the DSD.
