I created some views (including UCS set) and saved them in 3D model file. Why the UCS changed when I reloaded these saved views?

Please help.

Happy New Year !

Thanks for your replying ......I am afraid the answer was not the one that solved my problem.

You can try to save a name for your view which shown in the second picture, then close the View Manager window. Restore that view to see what will happen~~~~The UCS will change the location where when the view to be saved! Even you have UCS ortho to the view.

The file you were using had problem since it was from the one which had such problem when I created a lot of views.

If you copy to a fresh file (Total New file), there won't have any problem for creating views and reloading the views, even you don't have UCS ortho to the view.

In my working drawing, so many views had been created before the problem happened and I couldn't find a way to copy all model with all saved views to a fresh new drawing. How come I can create and save so many previous one by one again!

That's the reason why I guess the file couldn't be repaired after such problem have happened (A certain amount of views to be saved and UCS will not work well when these view to be reload).

Thanks again for your taking time to solve the problem.

Happy New Year,

oh what a shame, I focused on a general problem with views&ucs (in all files) and

I dodn't spend not enough time to your sample file, what is acting different.

Try it again

Create a new named views, but make sure while creation, setting UCSVP on(1)

Wow!!!! The first sight when I saw your "make sure while creation, setting UCSVP on(1)"   I knew that was the point!

Yes, you solved the problem!

The UCSVP must have been changed as (0) accidently when I worked on this complicated model, and I kept creating views after this having happened. the result was all the saved views after UCSVP on (0) had problem when I reloaded these views.

Thank you so much! At least, I can continue to create new views under UCSVP on (1) in my file! For the saved views which had problem,  I will revise them by typing UCS---View, then set correct UCS on the view and to save as the same name(s). Sure,  I will do the steps under UCSVP on (1) !!!

congratulations! Finally, I got the solution from you!   Happy New Year! :):):)

> I can continue to create new views under UCSVP on (1) in my file

As solution for your topic and file dependent issue

> I will revise them by typing UCS---View, then set correct UCS

As solution for the generally problem with saved ucs (ucsview=1) in named views
