Why no "Move to bottom" / "Move to top" in the Attribute Order popup box?

Does anyone else wonder why there is no "Move to bottom" / "Move to top" in the the Attribute Order application?

I am finding it extremely time consuming having to thrash a mouse button to cycle an attribute from the top to the bottom of the list given the 6 attribute types for revision table fields.

Is this a common issue or is it just that I am not aware of a better proccess / method to rearrange the Attribute Ordering?

Hi,

I suggest to follow this link and see how BATTORDER command may help you.

Hi Imad,

Thank you, but that does not help me.

I know how to reorder in the Attribute Order application and having to manually thrash a mouse button to get an attribute from the top to the bottom (or vice versa).

For example, say I have 20 different rows for design/drawing revisions (so many to keep track of internal revs). Each row then has 6 different fields (rev no., rev description, who drew it, who checked it, who approved it, and the date)
If I want to reorder the last revision attribute fields to the first (bottom to top), I have to press the “Move Up” for a single attribute 119 times (rev no.), then repeat for 118 (rev description), then repeat for 117 (who drew it), then repeat for 116 (who checked it), then repeat for 115 (who approved it) , then repeat for 114 (date), and that’s just for first record attributes.

Then continue this extremely arduous process.

There has to be a more efficient method to order the attributes, and if not, who do I talk to get such a function introduced?
