Sectionplane and sectionplanetoblock used to be a quick and easy way to make the elevation sections I needed to make my architectural and piping layouts. Then in the recent iterations of AutoCAD they (Autodesk)decided to make the sectionplane "Live" when enacted. Now I have to sit and wait for sometimes minutes while Autocad does something useless for me. I just want to make an elevation block to use in a 2D layout, which was so quick and efficient before. What else would you use sectionplane for where it has to start in "Live" mode first? For what purpose is it that important where it has to start this way first? Too bad really, I still have to use it extensively but now I have to waste a lot of time twiddling my thumbs...
