Which Object Enabler to use for 2019 AutoCAD

I have gone through all the steps to find the download of the "Object Enabler" for my version. However the download options on the web site, do not look like they will work for the issue I am having. I need the download to fix a problem with the Proxy Graphics.

Hi @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

When the popup shows that you have proxy objects in your file, please scroll in that little window to see which application created those objects.  Then, with that information I can help to point you to an appropriate object enabler.

You are also welcome to share your file here so i can take a look also.

Hi @Anonymous,

Well, that doesn't give us much to work with. Did the drawing come from in-house? Or from a consultant?

You can find OEs from the AKN download page.  Here are the ones I see for AutoCAD 2019:

Unfortunately if the objects came from a 3rd party application I would need to know which one.  If you can share your file perhaps I can take a look to see what might be installed.

If your data needs to be private or confidential, please email it directly to me at john.vellek@autodesk.com and please include a link to this thread in your email.

The only object enablers from Autodesk for AutoCAD1019 are here https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/autocad/downloads

There are no others from Autodesk. Other software vendors may have some for you, but you need to know what that is: it looks like AutoCAD doesn't know either. Find out from the original file creator.

If those aren't going to help, then you need to ask the person that created your file to dumb it down for your use with their software's version of "save as autocad" feature.

Or you could go ahead and destroy all of those in the file yourself using AEC@ACAD command in 2019AutoCAD.

Thanks for the file @Anonymous!

When I open your file I see that you have Proxy Objects from Quickpen CAD (Trimble and from HydraCAD.

Capture.PNG

You can visit the developer’s web sites to obtain the object enablers:

https://www.hydratecinc.com/home

https://mep.trimble.com/support/

If you are trying to place these titleblocks in a new drawing, based upon a template, you might need to first rename the blocks in this file.

I ran Audit, PURGE, and -PU>regapps on your file and then used EXPORTTOAUTOCAD to remove all the proxy objects.  I emailed my version of the file back to you for your review.
