When inserting a detail with multileader text, the text moves

I have a detail that was drawn in 3/4" scale with multileader text.  If I try to copy paste or wblock the detail and move it to another sheet, the text moves to somewhere else on the sheet.  I tried to use annoreset and attsync but they didn't seem to do anything.  I tried to change the sheet scale and then insert the block but that didn't change the problem.

I have attached a screen grab to show what is happening.  I have been using AutoCAD 2015 and 2016 with the same results.

Thank you for your help.

Bqasic AutoCAD 101 rule: content and settings in the file govern over content you bring in.

With that in mind, could the simply fact the TEXT or MLEADER styles in the destination file are just different from the source file's settings? Or do you just need to reset your annotative scale to 1:1 then back to whatever you prefer? Your screenshot can go both ways.

The mtext style is exactly the same for both files.  I have tried to have each sheet have the same annotative scale before I insert and the same problem happens.  I tried to insert it as a block and the same thing happened.

I feel like there is a setting that I just don't know about or that I don't understand fully that I am missing.  Mtext has been around a while now so I can't be the only one this has happened to.

I am sorry this has taken so long, life is so interesting now.

I have attached one of the details.  If you move the text, it jumps to another location.  OSnap is not on.  If I drag the text with the grips, similar things happen.  In this file, I have been trying to move parts of it to get it to fit on a different sheet.  Each time I try to move the text, dimensions, and drawing, the text jumps.

Oddly, this is not happening in every file I have.  Some files work just fine.

Thank you.

"...so I can't be the only one this has happened to."

You're not.

I have found no "solution" other than to simply accept it and move on.

I may have stumbled onto a solution shortly after I posted.

I noticed that the file had XREF drawing scales included in the list.  I then added the standard ones and recreated the text.  Once I used those instead of the XREF scales, the text acted normally when it was moved.  I can't delete the XREF scales but I can stop using them.

I am not sure yet if this is a universal fix but I am going to check this setting the next time it happens.
