Hello,

I am having an issue with my 2018 AutoCAD full version. We are having this issue on several of our users in our office so it is not a segregated issue.

When drawing, offsetting, or copping a line over i enter a specific dimension for that line to move across. As I type a dimension for it to move/offset the dimension disappears and starts all over again. For example: I want a line to move over 25.1875", as I type "25." that disappears and as I continue typing only 1875 actually appears. So it actually moves 1875" (a big difference) not 25.1875"

Does the disappearing only/always happen when typing a "dot" (period), or could it happen anywhere in the string of typed characters?

Are the affected users all sharing a customization file?

Hi @Anonymous,

I recall something like this happening in another forum customer's post when he was using Dynamic Input.

Can you make a Screencast video showing the behavior on your computer so i can track this down?

Hi @Anonymous,

Thanks for the video.  I see that you have a bunch of customization/add-ins installed in your AutoCAD 2018.  Can you try creating a new user account and logging onto the computer and then launch AutoCAD without any modifications of customizations?  I would like to see if this behavior persists in an out-of-the-box configuration.
