I'm using the 2021 version of Solidworks and the 2023 version of AutoCAD.

After dimensioning the part in Solidworks, it was converted to DWG. And let's assume that there are 'Draw No. 1' and 'Draw No. 2' as shown below.

I copied the 2nd drawing and pasted it into the 1st drawing. This will cause the problem of the dimensions changing or disappearing as shown in the picture below.

I'm wondering if there is a way to work with drawing dimensions in Solidworks and combine all drawings in one drawing file after converting to DWG.

I asked other communities for help, but the answer came that they are working on dimensions in AutoCAD drawings.

but, I want to work with dimensions in solidworks.

Is there really no workaround? Help is desperately needed.

A guess: your named DIMSTYLE settings (and DIM variables) in the destination file do not match that from the source file. AutoCAD101 basic abilities/limitations/knowledge.

You are welcome to share enough portions of both DWG files for everyone else over here to be able to see and replicate the issue if you find it challenging to find any differences.
