Hi there !

In the latest 2025 version I do have an annoying white frame around the workspace...do you have the same and do you know if it can be removed ?

Thanks a lot !

Do you need to turn off GFXDX12 by chance?
Have you run this tool to tone down your ACAD2025 settings yet?

Yeah, my pop-up looked like that too but I had graphics issues (different from yours for sure) until I turned off GFXDX12 here. it's worth trying, just remember you have to restart 2025 for it to take effect (same if you turn it back on).

Here are ways to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help:

What? it's not the same drawing posted with the problem, what do you see there that I don't see?

Did you even open the attached drawing Dean?

I suspect VPMAX is all the OP needed to do in the MODELSPACE to resolve it, this has come up today in a different post.

Either way, it looks like something else got tagged as the solution by the OP.

@OGOUN It looks like your document window may not be maximised  properly. What does toggling the centre button do for you?

Hi again and thanks for all this help.!

@Paul_Gander  Well...no...it's not the problem unfortunately !

@pendeanyeah no solutions for now...

But...now when I open a new drawing I do have this weird frame...but if open a second one, then the frame disappears on that one AND on the first one:

Good catch!

Reproduceable on my side. Looks like a kind of bug what appears by STARTMODE 0 ONLY (testers: don't forget the restart after startmode change)

Start a support-case or alert this "problem" by others ways to AutoDESK!

@cadffm  Yeah I have STARTMODE 0 on my ACAD!

I'll report this to Autodesk right now.

Seems tricky to report this to Autodesk...I'll let this like that.

You ask "all" users for help, so think about "all" user for a fix! Be so kind.

Report it as "new bug 2025" and add a link to your thread/ or to my post - if you like.
