Wall Design - Rock Climbing Wall; Measured surface features.

  1. I'm designing an indoor rock climbing gym with multiple overhangs. What areas (broad or specific) should I focus on to come up with a rough draft of my design. How do I manipulate multiple shapes as seen in the picture provided? What skills do I need and what areas do I need to learn?
  2. Covering the walls are holes for screws, each screw is placed every six inches up - down - left - right. Is there a way to uniformly put a representation of these screw holes on the surface of the wall with the correct spacing?

1. Work with a rock climbing design consultant, or a **** good rock climber interested in designing what you posted.

2. Make a BLOCK of a typical spaced set then start placing them by hand one by one i the pattern you desire.
