Visual lines that do not exist

I recently got a new laptop, and I've been having some strange screen issues. Sometimes, the entire screen goes completely blank, including the taskbar. This happens randomly, especially when I zoom in or out.

Additionally, when I draw lines or circles, I see grey lines that don't actually exist. These lines disappear when I drag my mouse over them.

I think it might be a graphics problem or a resolution issue but I haven't been able to find anyone else with the same problem. Unfortunately, because I have an educational key, I can't contact support for help.

At command prompt enter:

GFXDX12 0

Then close and restart AutoCAD 

If still a problem enter at command prompt GraphicsConfig and select another option for 2d Display Settings
