Viewport not copying in paperspace

I'm trying to create drawing layout in paperspace with several small viewports. I've copied 6 of them and they work fine but the seventh one won't let me see the model. Is there a limit to how many you can have?

There is probably a limit but 7 is definitely not it. Our company template alone has 6 viewports and I often add to that amount. Does this error occur in a brand new blank drawing?

See what MAXACTVP is currently set to, adjust higher if needed. Default is 64 but probably was set lower.

I have had this happen.  I copied a viewport and it was "off".  Check to see if it is "off"

Check Properties or type Mview - ON -select the viewport.

Hi @Accounts_FPG 

It looks like the system variable MAXACTVP(control number of active viewport in a layout) is set to a lower number. Try increasing it to max which is 64 🙂

You guys are amazing thank you. MAXACTVP was set to 8 so I changed it and it worked.

Very nice. I didn't know about that system variable. I'm making note of that one.
