Viewport clipping with linetypes problem

Hi, I have a viewport that was clipped using a wide dashed line and this has caused serious performance issues in a small drawing. Panning in paperspace is really slow. The solution is to not do this with viewport clips and add a wide polyline to make the border. Now the problem I am hiving is I can't undo the viewport clip. I will recreate it if I have to but I should be able to undo the dashed viewport. I am unable to select the viewport to delete the clipping boundary. Is there a way to undo the clipping boundary?

After I posted this I went through the steps to delete the boundary and it worked as expected, after trying multiple times. Is there a forum to post stuff just to make things work again?

This is ACA 2017 but I figured this was a general AutoCAD question.

Thanks, I was going through the steps trying to delete the boundary but it wasn't doing anything. the file was soo sluggish I think I just had to wait for it to catch up for me to select. I was able to delete it after I went back and tried again.
