Viewing AutoCad files on SharePoint

Hi,

Can Autodesk please recommend what solution we should use to view AutoCad files on SharePoint 365? We have quite a few users of AutoCad in our company and we are hoping to use SharePoint to host all their drawings by Project they are working on. By default you can't and you only get the option of saving it locally before opening it. There are a number of Add-ins that enable you to do this but our SharePoint team have come back and asked what is the recommended solution by the software provider?

Hope you can help?

Cheers

Mark

Hi @Mark.Robinson755MV,

I would start integration of AutoCAD and Sharepoint by looking at some of the plugins and apps available on the Autodesk App Store.  There appear to be quite a few and perhaps they will fit your needs.  There are likely many more available on the market as well.

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.

I need to know what actually is the recommended Add-in that we would need to use rather than a list of Add-ins.

Autodesk does not create just a product, so there is no recommendation from them for what to use. You need to find and test products yourself.

I'll get you started with searches, ut oyu have to do the testing and verification yourself
