Hi All, We recently replaced the only AutoCAD 2008 machine in our company with a new one, and are now having issues where regeneration of drawings take a long time. The old machine was running an Intel Core 2 6600 at 2.4, 4 gigs of RAM. The new one runs a Core 2 Duo E6550 at 3.33, 4 gigs memory (Precision 390 to T3400). Based just on that, we would not expect to have this issue. I'm speculating however on the suitability of the new video card. The old machine was running a Quadro FX 550. The new one runs a Quadro NVS 290. This was never considered before swapping them out. We do have the latest drivers from NVIDIA on the new machine, but if the card is just unsuitable, that won't help much. I'm feeling very out of my element here (more of a networking guy), but I've been tasked with figuring this out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I will provide as much additional information as I can upon request.
