Using a stylus for freehand sketching in AutoCAD

I am using a Microsoft Surface Book 2 and AutoCAD LT and am looking for a way to use my stylus for input instead of the mouse while using the "sketch" command. Real world example: I have drawn all my plans, sections, and elevations in AutoCAD using my mouse and keyboard. I now want to add some trees/people/cars to the elevations and could easily do this if I could tell AutoCAD to temporarily use the stylus instead of the mouse for the input. I realize there is a mobile app for iPads, Surface Pros, etc., but this is not what I am looking for. I am looking to work in AutoCAD on my laptop which also happens to be a detachable Surface Pro. Any help will be much appreciated.

There is no "use a pen or finger on my touchscreen" setting in AutoCAD/LT, it relies on your Windows version and your device to tell it a finger or a pen or a mouse are now in use "as the pointer" and let you draw with it.

But... AutoCAD/LT are not designed for touch-screens, if you want that from Autodesk, the closest thing they offer now is the limited capability AutoCADMobile app.

Always save a copy of the drawing before trying anything suggested here.
