Updating annotation inside a block

Hi!

I'll try to describe my problem as good as possible.

I have a block that contains lines and dimensions.

My dimension style specifies that lines are colored by layer.

When I change the color of the layer that has all dimensions, all dimension lines that are NOT IN a block, change color.

Those dimension lines that are IN a block do not change color. Why?

I also changed the color of the layer containing the block trying to solve this but didn't help.

EDIT: When I originally created these problematic dimensions, The dimension lines had a set color, not by layer. The dimension style has been changed to color lines by layer after the creation of these dimensions.

My labour heavy solution is to open the block in block editor and open and close the annotation modify so it updates.

REDRAW and REGEN don't do anything.

I have a lot of drawings that contain many blocks with annotation, and opening every block in editor and brute forcing annotation update through modify to change color seems daunting.

All help is appreciated.

The attached Lisp might help you.

Download Lisp and save it to your local drive

Jut give appload command.

Browse and locate this LISP file & load it.

Give command "bylyr" it will all objects color properties in by layer stat.

change layer color

done.

It's hard to see trough the blue tint of selection, but as you see, line is still yellow even though it has by layer property and should be green.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

I recreated my problem here. In the dimension type, lines are by layer, but inside the block lines are still wrong color. In different wording changing the "Dimensions" layer color doesn't do anything.
