Underline text is doubling against a regular line

Hi all,

We use a block with attributes for view port callouts. We use %%u underlining text but on my computer the underline of the text doubles up against the line in the block. I  use AutoCAD 2016 and the font is sas.shx and the text type is attribute. Please see image.Number Title Smaller for forum-Model.jpg

  1. you don't really need to underline any text unless it's really long, see image.
  2. You're issue is simply a visual one: forced text underlines are not the same thickness or display alignment of LINE objects, it should print fine or you need to redesign your block to have a dynamic line you can stretch at will or remove the line from the block altogether and remember to leave a blank space of two if you all prefer to always for a %%U to all your text.

I agree with Dean:  ditch the text underline and make the block dynamic by adding a Linear Parameter with a Stretch Action to the line.
