Unable to open/recover/convert file - AutoCAD 2023

Hi all,

I have only 2 files of all that cannot open/convert file, please help me (my file attached here).

Opening it will make not responding even though i leave all night. But opening with dwg trueview or other CAD (Enjicad, Librecad...) is OK, with Purge/Audit 0 errors.

DWGCONVERT command cannot convert. I have tried to save as dfx/dft file, cannot open the file too.

(I am using autocad2023 version, with my system is 32gb ram)

I'm able to open the drawing without any issue. Please find the updated drawing attached.

Hello, and welcome.  In your first post you gave the version of AutoCAD and your RAM... (thank you!), can you share a bit more information about the system you are working on?  Computer, processor, graphics... are you on a network, VPN, cloud storage etc.  Anything that might give a clue why this works for some and not for you.  Thanks in advance!

Where are you storing the file to open it exactly?

And did you restart your PC yet? Try to login as a different user to test?

Can anyone else in your office open these two troublesome files?

What does that mean please? AutoCAD2023 is not an online program.

mr. CGBenner ask me if i am on a network/PVN/cloud storage... I mean I am using only on my lap, not connect to outside, or open it over server...

Of course I know autoCAD is not online, I have been working for 8y 😁

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Thanks a lot, but I still can't open it. Maybe my version (student CAD ver., 2023) or my windows 11 home is the reason. Because I have tried in many ways: purge (in other laps)/recover/recover all/copy to a new file/save in dfx file to reopen....
