UNABLE TO locate CAD FILE (Using 2010 version)

I have template file (22692KB). Previously worked in AutoCAd drawing, saved it as drawing. Later unable to find drawing file and it is replaced with template file (22692 KB) or found template file only in place of AutoCAD file. What to do now?? How can i convert template file (22692 KB) to Auto CAD file. Any idea?? kindly suggest solutions.
