Unable to fillet solid edge

Anonymous
Not applicable

I designed a simple solid (a table leg) and I was able to fillet two of the four long edges with a radius 15 mm.

AutoCAD does not allow me to fillet the other two edges regardless of the radius I input. I even tried with 1 mm radius just for testing.

I get error 102026.

Is this a bug or I am doing something wrong? In the picture you will see that two of the edges are filleted, I need to fillet the other two edges all along the solid. I have attached the dgw. file.

Thanks for the support,

Felice

Hi @Anonymous,

Unlike @parkr4st, I also had some problems getting the Fillet Edge to work on your model.  I had been selecting each portion of the edge individually and received a few different error messages.

However, when I tried again, I used the Chain edge and that seemed to work perfectly.

I have attached a quick video showing this process. I did this exercise in AutoCAD 2016. Which version of AutoCAD are you using?

Thank you.

The procedure you suggested is working also for me.

Thanks for the hint,
