unable to export as pdf

Hello, when i try to export the shape of the attached DWG model  as PDF , i get the following error.

which says "

ERROR: There were no plottable sheets in the current operation.


 

i have attached the PDF settings in the photo bellow,is there something to do?

i have managed to export the PDF in the PLOT option as shown in the photo bellow, for manufacturing this shape by printing,

is it the same as export pdf option that i used above?

Accepted solution
Use PLOT command and take control: 'export' relies on as well established pagesetup which you probably did not do ahead of time (which you can do in PLOT command anyway).

HI @dim678,

 

I agree with Dean that using plot gives you a lot more control over this operation.

 

I looked at your file and saw that it was using inches as untis while you are trying to print to a metric papersize. I used -dwgunits to change to mm.

 

I then created a Page Setup for the layout that includes all my plot parameters. I wanted to make sure I had the correct paper size selected and that I was plotting at 1:1 not "To Fit".

 

I then created a viewport in paperspace and zoomed 1:1. Now, whether I use Plot or the Export To AutoCAD, the creation of the PDF works.
