Hi,

the drawing was created or edited with an application not based on AutoCAD, and it has proxies inside the drawing.

You can see this when you open the drawing (and have not disabled the dialogs):

By default the command -EXPORTTOAUTOCAD would help, however, not in this case.

What you could do is to load the tool zombiekiller from >>>here<<< and let the tool run through your drawing (if you have more than just this single dwg-file).

Or download my attached drawing.

By recreate the file using classic insert, I can copy or paste the drawing contents:

Recreate or repair the drawing file

  1. Create a blank drawing from a standard DWT. (Make sure that the default profile is being used).
  2. Use the INSERT command (or CLASSICINSERT) to import the damaged drawing.
    1. Select the "Explode" checkbox.
    2. Insert the content on the original location (0,0).
  3. Save, Close, and Reopen the file.
Notes:
  • Another method to take the drawing content into a new DWG file is to use WBLOCK command.
  • Use the standard profiles that are shipped with the product before inserting the drawing content.
This will ensure that the drawings you create are based on the standard templates and no script is initiated when a drawing is created nor when one is opened.
    1. Type OPTIONS on the command line.
    2. Under the Profiles tab, use double-click to set the Profile to the default profile, <<Unnamed Profile>>.
  • If there is suspicion that the AutoCAD user profile is corrupted, refer to 'How to reset AutoCAD to defaults'.

Reinstall Object Enabler extensions

Remove proxy entities with ZombieKiller

Remove the proxy entities using the ZombieKiller tool.
