Turning a dwg drawing file into a 3D model

I was sent dwg. drawings of a part and need to turn them back into a 3D model without having to go in and manually CAD the entire piece. Is this a possibility in autoCAD?

Unfortunately no. If there were. 50% of users (give-or-take) would be out of a job!

Does your wording "turn them back into a 3D model" mean that you know the drawing you were given was converted to 2D from some 3D source?  If so, do you have the possibility of requesting the 3D source file from the originator?  If you're not sure that's the case, the drawing may never have been in 3D form to go back to.

That was my first thought too. Vendor hasn't reached back out with the CAD file. Based on the format of the drawing I am almost 100% positive that it was built off an existing 3D model.
