Hi Everyone.

At them moment, I have been stuck to turn off shadow object when I try to render object.

Although, I have turned off shadow in setting the sun properties, and setting in visual style either

And I also try to set shadow cats and receives shadow to none in properties tab but it will turn back to cats and receives in display shadow

For all that what I try to do the object still display shadow when I render them. I have attached a file in bellow.

Can everyone help me to solve that problem? Thank you so much.

P/S : I don't want render object with shadow.

AFAIK its not possible to avoid shadow in the newer ACAD versions while rendering anymore.

In the AutoCAD Help chapter "About Backgrounds and Shadows" you find this:

"Note: Starting with AutoCAD 2016-based products, all lights generate and all objects cast and receive shadows when rendering."

I have nothing to add to that.

Have you tried a 3rd party render option?  Link below I believe has a free trial.

Hi,

No rendering, but you can use visual style "Realistic" (or an own defined one) for a viewport or for your modelspace.

There you can turn off shadows and you can adjust global brightness and contrast.

The quality is not the same as rendering, but it might help. (please find attached the PDF with this simple geom from a layout with multiple viewports each having different brightness assigned)
