Perhaps you could share the drawing with us. A blown up screen shot with a one line title doesn't give us much from which to work. Or show us with a Screencast.

printing to what? Using what driver? What driver settings for font handling?
Are your text objects assigned a Z elevation that is not zero? FLATTEN command should fix that.

Hi,

some questions:

  • does that happen with all true-type fonts? ...or only a specific one (then which one)
  • does that happen in a new drawing too?
  • have you verified that the MTEXT is positioned at Z=0 (because sometimes MTEXT on elevations <> 0.0 shows such effects)
  • which version of AutoCAD are you working with (screenshot of command _ABOUT)
  • which driver did you use to print this file?
  • can you upload that file?

All TT text printed like that (new files and existing) and all text is positioned at z=0

The issue has been persistent in AutoCAD 2017, 2019 and now 2020

I always printed to Adobe PDF. I just tried printing to AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation).pc3 and the text is now crisp. Not sure why I never thought to change the print type sooner, but happy that it's printing clear now!

Thank you!
