Trueview forum is here: http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/DWG-TrueView/bd-p/109

CTRL+9 toggle it on and off, just like AutoCAD: or TOOLS menu bar, Commandline option. Forgot to turn on the menubar? Do so by clicking on the very small arrow down at the end of the very small row of icons nex to the big blue D and select SHOW MENU BAR.

Have you gotten an answer to this? I have the same problem. Although a portion of the command line is on screen, it is the portion you can do nothing with. Help! The tip listed above does not work. The other tips are for Autocad, not Trueview.

Answers do not work in Trueview 2014.

The solutions posted are application-neutral: they work with most apps.
So what exactly is your issue? It probably is not the same as The one the solution the user above identified.

Also: you are posting in the wrong forum for your software product: see post #2 above.

The tip does not work for the command line retrieval in Trueview 2014. You can move the Trueview window itself, but the command line window is not anchored to this window at all. No part of the command line window that is visible can be moved. I picked Trueview from the apps. Any other suggestions? Appreciate the help. I suppose I could re-install, but I would lose my customizations, which is some work.

Customizations in DTV2014? And what do they do if I may ask?

Maybe they pushed it off screen for you? DTV forum is over there http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/DWG-TrueView/bd-p/109, not here.

Had same thing happen me..

Try this.

CTRL+9. if this does not work go to top of screen and check top toolbar if menu bar is visible.

If not make it visible.

Then go to tools and you can select it on or off from here

Hope that works as did for me
