Troubleshooting Blocks and Xrefs

Hello all,

I work in landscape design and I'm trying to insert a survey dwg into my project, but I'm having issues with important layers missing. Everything comes in when I attach survey dwg as an xref, but I am unable to edit the xref or explode it. So, if I try to insert it as a block, there are important layers that are missing.

Any thoughts?

Couple of thoughts. Have you tried to use the REFEDIT command. Another option would be to Bind the XREF.

I would like to see how this is occurring.  Can you please attach your files to a post or perhaps email them to me if they need to remain private ([email protected]).

I am not sure how some layers are not appearing or why you are unable to explode or edit the xref.
