trouble copying/pasting

Hello people,

I have a wee problem. I am using Autocad 2020 and I am having troubles copying and pasting. I have those bathymetry profile lines that can only be seen from the front plan (Z X). From the top (Y X) they just look like a straight line. I copy them from the front plan and then paste them on my other drawing where I drew my foundations on the top plan (Z X). Even though I copied them from the front plan, they appear like on the top plan on my foundation's drawing. Any tips on how to solve that?

Welcome to the AutoCAD forum.

Use the "Copy with Base Point" with specify base point being 0,0 and paste it on your other drawing at 0,0.
