Triangular Scale Grip and annotations

When I try to use the triangle scale grip on the viewport. The annotative objects (Dimensions, Text, etc.) scale does not change/adjust and therefore are not visible. Is there a way to have the annotative objects change scale when you change the viewport scale using the triangle?

Is your viewport locked? Or is it doing something else odd?

OR... Is the problem limited to one DWG file and/or one unlocked viewport? Or is this an issue in all of your files and unlocked viewports?

Make sure you have to annoautoscale on. It will automatically add annotative scales to the object when you change the annotative scale.  Button is on the status bar or change ANNOAUTOSCALE to 4. Turn it on before you change the scale or change it again after.

I've tried with the viewport locked and unlocked. The annotative dimension doesn't change it's scale and can't be seen in new viewport scale.

That would just force it to be shown at the wrong scale and not update the annotative scale.
