Can some one tell me where I can get more information concerning this command?

What the "Net" and "Help" have given me is the exact same thing.

Thank you

What more information do you want? What are you trying to do with it (or think you can do with it)? Perhaps that would help others understand your need and provide you with more focused answers.

How do I apply a negative 5 digit number, when I don't know what numbers can be used?

Having been provided:

<0
Treats model space objects as 2D (Z coordinates are ignored), as is always the case with paper space objects. Such a setting is appropriate for 2D drawings and makes more efficient use of memory without loss of performance

is great, but can I put in any 5 digit number?

What makes it more fun, is AutoCAD has an initial value of 3020

What else can the command do?

I will be the first to admit, I don't even know what a "spatial index" is, but, without looking it up, I won't ever know.

I work with 2D drawings, but we are provided with 3D XREFs. If I can find ways to speed up the creation of drawings, I will try to incorporate it.

I recently saw a post concerning the ability to work in a dialog box and place XREFs in any order you desire working in the D-box. I saw that command/ability around 2005 in a different program, but have lost track of the program and haven't seen the command since. I was hoping Treedepth would help with it.

Treedepth: the options are:  0, or >0, or <0.

Did you test with Zero, then 5, the -5 and do you see any difference if any?
Changing the 5s as needed is always an option if you notice undesired results.

I'm curious on what you've actually tested so far: if you've done nothing now is a good time to start. You can always put it back to 3020 whenever you want.

I changed 3020 to -3020, but haven't seen any difference yet.

Perhaps when I work in a new drawing it will show up.

I would stick with zero, then 5 (or 10 or 100), then -5 (or -10 or -100) for testing purposes: and I'm not sure this has any bearing of what your desires are I suspect if you are just trying to speed up 2D drafting with 3D XREFs in your file.

I didn't see any changes with any number yet.

I realized today, I already set OSNAPZ to 1 so I am not sure if this overrides Treedepth. Anyway, it doesn't seem to work with my drawings.

If you set ONSAPZ to 0 does anything change?
