Trademark Symbol - superscript

Hello, I am trying to add a trademark symbol to the Title field under Drawing Utilities>Drawing Properties in my DWG file. I can get the symbol in there, but I cannot figure out how to get it be superscript. It looks like this in the Title field:

but it turns out looking like this when the title field is then referenced in my title block:

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Hello @molly_norton,

I believe whether this character shows up as superscript or not is largely based upon the font family being used. I tried selecting the symbol (character) using the Windows Cambria font. It appears correct in my dialog field. I cannot guarantee though that it would have the same appearance on a system that did not have the same font available.

One trick to superscript antyhing in MText, is to first put it in as a Stacked Fraction, (1/2 for example)  then select the fraction, right-click, and change the stack properties to Tolerance, and paste in the characters you want in the Upper text box, and clear out the Lower textbox.

That doesn't address the DWGPROPs issue, but may help elsewhere.

have you seen this feature on any other program or file as a pop-up or right-click in Windows Explorer? A quick review of many application files on my PC reveal most software companies resort to adding the words "copyright year company name all rights reserved" to their file details titles instead, and they digitally sign the files. I do notice that Microsoft somehow got the C-in-a-circle Copyright symbol on their app files somehow but it looks like a different font or icon.

I am using the Arial font, I can have the trademark symbol come in as mtext and superscript, but it will not work on the attribute I have create on the title block

I need the trademark symbol superscripted on the attribute of the title block, I am using Arial font, I can type in alt+0174 but it will not superscript

are you using a multi-line attribute?  try that if not.

I have try the Multiline attribute, the Alt+0174 control code will not work
