I've created new blocks for my company and am importing them into the tool palette. On my machine they appear under the correct subheading in the correct tool palette tab. But on tool palettes on other machines they appear in the correct tab but tacked on at the bottom in a miscellaneous subheading. Does anyone know why this is happening? And how I can get the blocks to appear in the correct position company-wide.

Hi,

>>"Does anyone know why this is happening?"

Yes

New items imports by & to there original position

Onced created, the position is managed by the autocad profile workspace (local).

Yes

One way is to re-create the whole palette (it's just a simple copy&paste step),

in this case all items are unknown/ne for other users and see -> New items imports by & to there original position!

You should learn more about toolpalettes (what's going on behind the frontend) and ways

to share them. Read 1,2 or more AutoDESK University handouts about Toolpalettes,

you will read about this topic in all of them.

Use your favorite search engine to search for: university toolpalette site:autodesk.com
