Hi guys,

when will they release an update for autocad 2020 so that the functions of the touchscreen (zoom, pan, overview, etc.) will return to work correctly as in the 2018 autocad?

tks

Hello @Anonymous,

Please take a look at the TOUCHMODE (System Variable)  make sure you set the varibable properly. Set the touch-enabled screen or interface, controls the display of the Touch panel on the ribbon.

Please "Accept Solution" if a reply or replies have helped resolve the issue or answered your question, to help others in the community.

I've tried it in different ways, but I haven't found a solution to this problem. Even if the TOUCHMODE System Variable is set correctly (Initial value: 1) the touch does not work. In Autocad 2018 the touch works great ... it's really a pity!

The pan function and the zoom function with two finger does not work.

in the 2018 version I can do this function (zoom and pan), while in the 2020 version I can't do it: why?

So on my Lenovo Yoga with Win10 and AutoCAD2020.1.2 I can pinch zoom and 2-finger pan right now as I sit here doing it.

As I could with R2019 and R2018 on this 2-in-1 before (I have since removed them).

I wonder if you've tried a reset or reinstall of 2020 yet and if that could help.

I currently have 2020.1.3 installed (fresh install today) and the touch screen is acting the same as the other users here. I cannot zoom or pan using just the touch screen (2 finger pinch and 2 finger move) as I used to in 2016, 2017 and 2018. I was not able to in 2019 but i thought upgrading to 2020 would help. This is on a Surface Pro 4.

Hi Leonardo,
I have the same issue you had 2020 Autocad version. I have a 2 and 1 Lenovo laptop and I cannot zoom in and out as I did on 2018 Autocad. Where you able to find a solution?
Much appreciated.
Thanks, Carlos
