What's your LOCKUI variable set to?

If by some odd chance my nattering was useful -- that's great, glad to help. But if it actually solved your issue, then please mark my solution as accepted :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

window mode?
Toolbars?
Why are you not posting screenshots for a visual problem?

Or do you mean Ribbon? The Ribbon will resize based on available screen realestate, it will not remain fully open and there is nothing you can do about it sadly.

It looks like you are tiling your window, perhaps to see more than one program on the same screen? I'd guess the answer to the question of tiling a window yet still seeing all of the toolbars, is no. Here are two alternative suggestions:

1. Keep the program at full screen and use alt-tab to toggle between programs.

2. Buy a second monitor so you can run AutoCAD on one and your other program(s) on the other.

If you are having issues with more than one instance of AutoCAD starting up just by opening another drawing, then check that your SDI setting is set to zero. That should allow multiple drawings in one AutoCAD session.

Hi,

>> are you sure autocad doesn't have an option or way to scale

>> down the toolbars to fit

No, toolbars can't be scaled or some kind of minimized.

If you would be willing to work with ribbons then you would have this option available.
