Tool Pallatte file path not saving correctly

I have a tool pallet that is saved on a network drive. Within atuocad options I have told AutoCAD to look in the network folder for tool pallets. However when I click apply and close the options dialog the tool pallet doesn't appear.

I have been into options only to find AutoCAD seems to have shortened the file path for example the folder the tool pallet is in is called "010_Scripts, LISP and Custom Commands" however AutoCAD displays it as "010_Scripts" and says the file path doesn't exist which is true because the folder "010_Scripts" doesn't exist.

Any ideas?

Hi,

>> the folder the tool pallet is in is called "010_Scripts, LISP and Custom Commands"

Folder names can't contain commas (",")

Thank you, AutoCAD is now displaying the full folder path but AutoCAD still isn't displaying the pallet

Hi,

did you import the tool palette?

Just the existence does not make AutoCAD to automatically present it in every AutoCAD profile.

I have been into Customize Tool Palettes but the palette does not appear on the left hand side. Do I need to import it this way as well as pointing AutoCAD as to where it is?

Hi,

>> Do I need to import it

At least you need AutoCAD to tell that you want to have them displayed.

Use command _TOOLPALETTES to display palettes, if you see yours, ok, if not right-click into the tool palette ==> Customize Palettes,

There you can decide which ones you want to see (move palette from left side to the group you like to contain your palette on the right side) .... or in the left side right-click ==> and use Import ...
