The annotative block is moving

Hi,

I have some problems with annotative blocks positioning. The "tree"in (D_Medis layer) block should be in the midle of other triangle block or the cross shape block... but it isnt. I think i've done everything correctly, but it seems not. The problem is in layout, in model space everything seems to be alright. Iam attaching file too, so You guys could take a look.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

the problem caused by your UCS orientation try to fix it from scratch.either you make another VP or change your ucs inside your VP to World then type Plan command to get back for the origin ucs.

Edit:

I suggest also to untick the box from Block Editor (see attached image)

Hi,

your blocks are defined to match orientation to layout, that means if you rotate blocks and want them to have the same orientation base point then the block insertion point has to be at the same position (as the block insertion point is the one the blocks are rotated around).

But for your blocks the insertion points are not the same. they are at different y-values ... and therefor you will see the blocks horizontally centered to each other as long as your layout/viewports are not rotated.

What you can do is to redefine the block "D_medis" so it has it's base-point at the bottom of the vertical line and then move the blocks downwards with that difference.

Hi, Alfred,

Thank you for quick respond. But problem is, when i redefine block's base point, i cant select "Match orientation to layout". And thats pretty bad. Or maybe i understood something bad, because iam pretty new to annotations.

Hi,

I opened your drawing, selected one of the blocks "D_medis" ==> right mouse click ==> open in block-editor.

Now - in block-editor - use the command _MOVE to move everything in the block so the lower endpoint of the vertical line is set to 0,0,0

This is needed to correct the block.

Next step is to move all the block-insertions in model-space (not in layout) exactly with that distance downwards.

Look to the attached drawing and video.
