Text of dimensional constrains is not centered,

Despite the fact that the style of the dimension is set to be center, the dimensional constrains sounds not to respect this property. The text is located at the end of the dimension line

What might be the issue here?

Thank you

Excellent!

If you would mark it as the answer so it can be used for future reference :cara_con_una_leve_sonrisa:

The issue is not resolved! I just repeated making the dimensions again!

Not sure why the texts at first were not centered while they are then centered knowing that the same dimension style is used

Jamal,

Why are those dimensions showing a lock symbol?

Correct. Why do we have this behavior? Is it a bug?

Its not a bug. THe reason they don't move back is that their position has been changed manually. The text placement is not at the extension line like you would see in a style but rather aligned with the end point per user input. so when you change styles the style is applied and then the manual user positioning overrides the text style. This is why it does not behave this way when new constraint dimensions are added. To fix the current drawing all you need to do is to remove the manual positioning of the text. after that it will behave like you were thinking it should.

Thanks. How to center all the texts in one go?

Select one of your dimension then Select similar > Dim text position > home text

Ok, try this Once you have them all selected hover over the text grip. Select reset text position

Suppose that I need to do it for one object. I failed to get the context menu when hovering over the grip! What might be the issue here?

Hi TheCADnoob,

The command you have provide worked fine. However, I would prefer to approach this command from context menu as this command is easy to be forgotten
