Text, Lines in model space are very dim

Everything was fine until my CAD froze and I had to end task. Upon opening the same file all my work inside the model space has become very dim (see picture attached). I have no clue how to resolve this. The text on my title block in paper space is fine, it's bright.

Is there a chance your model space stuff is an xref? if so check your fade control:

https://www.cadlinecommunity.co.uk/hc/en-us/articles/360000103657-AutoCAD-2019-Xref-Fade-Control

If its not that you can look to see if the layer is locked and the locked layer fade control is set. If it locked try unlocking it. If you need it locked try changing the fade control:

What were you doing when it froze? Some sort of reference editing.

Rob

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Are any of those layers locked?  Have you checked out layer fade options?

The layer is not an Xref and it isn’t locked. ☹

No, I had numerous files open (maybe 5 MB each and about 4-5 of them). It froze and I closed out of it through task manager and opened the file back up and it changed by itself. All files are this way now. Any new lines drawn are drawn very "faded"...it looks like it is Xrefed but it's not.

None of the layers I am drawing on are locked. They are the usual settings.

Again, what were you doing right before it "froze"? This could point to a solution.

as @s.borello  mentioned have you looked at your transparency control on your layers?
