Text Height Not Working

Hi All,

I am having a problem with my text height which is driving me crazy. I created 3 text height styles, 2.5mm, 3.5mm, 5mm. As I did each one, I measured it all and they all seemed fine. After doing a few other things in the drawing, I noticed all of a sudden my 3.5mm text seemed smaller than other 3.5mm text. So i measured it, and it's now at around 3mm even though all my properties, all settings, everything say it's 3.5mm.

The problem seems to be that if I measure from the top of the textbox snap, to the bottom of the text, it's the correct measurement (3.5mm). But the text size itself is now 3mm. As I said, it was previously working. So why did that change and how do I fix it back to how it was where the true value of the text height is 3.5mm, not text height + random text box snap.

I'm assuming it has something to do with text justification or since I think that was the last thing I did before I notice it had screwed up but I'm new to autocad (microstation is my program of choice) so I'm not sure exactly what went wrong.

Are you perhaps measuring lower case characters?

No, I'm definitely not measuring a lower case character.

I have the text height working fine when I add it as an attribute tag. My text height in my dimensions measure correctly too.

It's just normal text that's not working.

*EDIT*

Sorry, you actually are correct, I thought I was typing in capitals but turned out my text style just made lower case look like capitals. I was using technic. I changed my text style just then since I didn't like how the numbers looked and noticed my 'small font' then changed to lower case. Thanks!
