I just upgraded from 2019 to 2022 at work. I didn't have this issue in 2019. The issue I'm having is when I do a dimension and I need to change the text to subscript for some reason i can't use the line spacing.
Here is and example of what I'm talking about
th(boot-mode)
see note 2
The h(boot-mode) is subscript which comes down to far into the "see note 2".
I'm not sure why its doing that for. I have googled it and can't find anything
I can also post a pic of it if need be.
Here is a picture of what I'm trying to do. I put a blue arrow where to where I'm trying to get the line spacing to come up from

i have no clue what a screencast would be. but clicking the link.
I watched the link. Yea I wish I could put that on but I can't
@john.p.addy - if you click the link, it will tell you.
But to save you time, it will record your screen actions in AutoCAD (and other applications) and then when you upload the recording to the forums, we can actually see what commands you are executing, your screen actions, etc. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video must be worth a million.
@john.p.addy - please paste your image directly into the forum, like this:
Many people will be skeptical about opening a foreign DOCX file.

ok can you tell me how to do that.
paste into the reply text box here on the site instead of MSWord...
You are using this method, yes? https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/13776/windows-use-snipping-tool-to-capture-screenshots (it's been around since Windows7 was a thing).
Review your procedures in general, there is nothing new in R2022 to prevent what it is you are trying to do

It has always worked for me, never an issue.
See the bottom of my last reply, I suspect you missed a step.
It work that time I was able to post the screenshot in my last post
Thank you for your reply but that didn't answer my question.
Yes I know this. I need more space between the lines for the 1st line and 2nd line. Which is why i have the blue arrow pointing where it does. That is normally where I go for adding more space between lines. Since upgrading 2022 from 2019 I can not do that now.
Hey here is the DWG. The stuff in red is what I'm asking about

Thanks for the file. So what you want to do does not work in 2019 either
Did you have a 3rd party add-on that let you use line spacing in DIMTEXT? You could just add a <return>
Q: Why the floating line? DIMSTYLE has a build-in leader option for DIMTEXT.
