Text box cut off on plot

I have some drawings with text in, where if part of the text isn't visible in the viewport, that line of text will not plot when plotted to pdf.
See the screenshots (black background is autocad, white is the pdf): 

As you can see. the word 'main' is cut off on the plot although it's visible on screen. Is there a variable I can alter to make it print, or do I just have to make sure my text is fully inside the viewport?

Can you upload a file for detailed analysis?
Or at least part of it that causes problems.

Hi,

not sure wich version of AutoCAD you are using (and which servicepack/update), I would start with getting the latest updates installed or start command _ABOUT and show us a screenshot of that dialog, so we can inform you if updates are available.

Also try:

• use a different printer (e.g. DWG to PDF.pc3)
• use a different textstyle/font for that text

...to see if this changes the output.

You also might upload this dwg-file so we can try that on our systems.

Thanks for your reply. Here's my autocad version:

Plotting to DWG to PDF doesn't cut off the textboxes, so it must be a setting on the other pdf maker.
