Text automatically changed to upper case

AutoCAD 2015

For some reason, when typing text or editing text they are being automatically changed to upper case text, but if I hold down the Shift Key it will do lower case. It is basically working backwards

The CAP-LOCK is not on.

Any suggestions?

When editing text in the text editor right click in the editor and on the menu there is an all caps option. Make sure that is not checked.
