By far the hardest thing in autocad for me is the dang text. I try and stay in annotative however oftentimes I wont get the option to select annotative; standard is the only option.

Todays dilemma - Getting text to show up in View port. (This is the only file I am having a problem with) I've looked everywhere in my layers and they are all on.

Here are the screenshots.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am sorry you are having difficulty with this feature. It appears that your layers are not frozen for the viewport so that is good. Is it possible to attach the file so I can take a closer look at how you are creating the text?

Here ya go!

Thanks once again!

I should mention I don't always get the option to select annotative text. It seems that some of the issues happen after some default of standard is used....

I changed the "Standard" style to be annotative for this reason. But that may be another can of worms.

Hi @Anonymous,

This is easy!

Make sure that you turn on the ANNOALLVISIBLE on the bottom tool bar and everything should work fine.

If the text doesn't appear in your VP all what you have to do is go inside the vp then change the ANNOALLVISIBLE system variable to 1 or follow the attached image.

Command: ANNOALLVISIBLE
Enter new value for ANNOALLVISIBLE <0>: 1

Just curious.... I never adjusted that setting... Why was it set to zero?

Worked like a charm btw! Of course!

HI @Anonymous,

This variable controls text visibility if it is configured for the current annotative scale.  See this AKN Article for more info.
