One of the assignment we have students do in the spring semester is to create their own template using the

Tutorial-iMfg.dwt or one of the other three. This semester using 2024 these are not working. No prompts.

We are running AutoCAD through VMWare Horizon.

Any Suggestions

Thanks, Randy

Ensure that you are using the latest version of the AutoCAD is compatibility with the VMware horizon. Also verify the integrity of the template file and ensure that AutoCAD is pointing out to the correct template.

When your using one of these tutorial templates. As the template opens, their are prompts to customize to your needs. Been doing this lesson for 15 plus years and for some reason. This semester, it just opens up a static template and we are given no prompts to customize.  Customization as in Layouts, title block development, etc.

Yes, it is the latest 2024 version with all the updates. Not sure what you mean by point to the correct template.

Hoping someone from AutoCAD team see this post.

So what you describe has never been a default function of any plain AutoCAD year-versions, nor when just opening a template file.

Do you have screenshots to show this screen from previous versions?
