Hi and welcome to AutoDesk Forum,

What about latest Service Packs and Hotfixes?

Does it takes long if you open the file from other PC?

Does it happened with every drawing you open it? if the answer is "NO" try to open the xref files itself and PURGE and AUDIT them.

Hi,

what is "ANZACAD"? It seems to be an application on top of AutoCAD, so try to disable that app and see if loading of files can be reduced.

Additionally to the advices by @imadHabash I would ask you to copy your drawing and xref files to your local disk, then disconnect from network and try to load the file from the local drive, is that faster?

At least one additional question: are your files stored in the current format (DWG 2013)? Having set the default format to older dwg formats can result in such performance issues.

Hi Joshigopinathan1982,

Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Is it possible to attach your drawings to a post so I can see if there is anything in the drawings that might be causing this behavior?

HI @Anonymous,

Can you try a Reset settings to Default to see if that helps? This will set you back to "out of the box" state so no customizations will be present. I would like to know if that helps. Also, please temporarily turn off your firewall and security software as well as the UAC in Windows.

Hi @Anonymous,

Per chance are you using Dropbox?

It appears DropBox came out with an update over the weekend that may cause issues opening files when using older versions of Autodesk products. We have heard from our customers that the issue may present as:

-          Crashing

-          Freezing

-          Lagging

-          Product unable to open at all

-          Give an error of “Not Responding”

-          Unable to save new files

This article walks you through removing DropBox and doing a restart. It appears reinstalling Dropbox does not fix the issue, so we advise waiting until a patch is released by DropBox.

Per chance are you using Dropbox? We have been seeing some issues since last weekend that causes such problems.
